My Home is a Gym!The older you get, the harder it is to lose the weight that has managed to accumulate itself changing you into a different person.
I highly recommend purchasing a FITbit to monitor your steps and track your food and water intake, calories burned, etc., I use my FITbit in conjunction with MY Fitness Pal app. I also use a smart scale that tracks my BMI! My favorite work-outs include walking for steps; the recommended is aiming at 10,000 steps per day - I have rarely reached that goal, instead i set a more realistic goal for myself, like 4,000-5,000 and that works perfectly with my calorie intake and helps me to burn additional fat. I also enjoy using Resistance bands because they offer a portable alternative to resistance and weight training. When you don’t have the time or easy access to the gym, a quality set of resistance bands can offer a great workout and a nice change of pace. Lots of people use resistance bands regularly as part of their exercise routine. Resistance bands also give you the opportunity to reach target and focus on specific muscles. There is some variation between the types and styles of resistance bands that you’ll need to know before making a purchase, i use two different types of bands. The shorter Resistance Loops and the Resistance Bands. |
